PICTURES FROM ÄNGELHOLM

At this web page I would like to give some information about my home
town Ängelholm. I will also show pictures. All of the photographies are
taken by me during the year 2016. I've totally written 23 web pages
about Ängelholm.

Ängelholm is located in the northwestern of Scania and Scania is the most southern
part of Sweden. ["Skåne" is the Swedish word for "Scania".]

Ängelholm was founded in 1516 by the Danish king Christian II. Scania belonged to
Denmark and up to 1658. Historically, Ängelholm is characterized by salmon fishing in
Rönne River, trade and craft. Rönne River flows through Ängelholm.

Nowadays the northwestern Scania is called the Swedish Ceramics Place. Ängelholm is
known for its ocarinas and is called "Lergökasta'n" [The Town of Ocarinas].
